+Wat Phnom: It is a holy Buddhist shrine in the central of Phnom Penh . It was built on an artificial hill built by the rich lady Penh in the 14th century. Until now it is popular for people in Phnom Penh to go to pray and celebrate Buddhist ceremonies.
+Unalom Buddhist Pagoda: it is an old Buddhist pagoda built in 1956 on the base of an ancient temple from the 12th century. It is located on the bank of Tonle Sap river , just 500 ms from the royal palace. It is one of the beautiful pagodas in Phnom Penh.
+National Museum: it was designed by Khmer Architect and built in 1917 in Khmer architecture style. It is a home of more than 15000 artifacts collected from the whole country.
+Royal Palace of Cambodia: During the reign of King Norodom, by supporting from France, the capital city of Cambodia was moved from Udong back to Phnom Penh in 1860s. And the Royal Palace was built in 1866 with a strong wall more than 1600 ms surrounding this whole palace compound.
+Silver Pagoda: it is called silver pagoda because the whole floor of this pagoda is made of more than 5000 pieces of pure silver. It is a private pagoda for the king and royal family with thousand statues of Buddha made from different materials, especially a big statue of Buddha standing made of 90 kgs of pure gold and decorated by 2084 diamonds.
+Toul Sleng Genocide Museum (S21): it is a VIP prison to capture, torture and interrogate high educated people and the former high ranking officer during Lon Nol and it’s own high ranking officer who betrayed Angkar before transported them to kill at the killing field.
+Choeurng Ek: located 15 kms southwest of Phnom Penh and covered an area of more than 2 hectares of land where it was used as the killing field to kill more than 20000 people who were transported from S21 during Khmer Rouge.
+Sunset Cruise on the Mekong River: It is popular for tourists to do sunset cruises on the Mekong River to relax with the great view of the royal palace and city. Especially they can learn more about the Mekong River and its Junctions in Phnom Penh.
+Central Market: It was built in 1937 in French architecture style and renovated in 2011 with support from France. It is a popular market for locals and foreigners to do shopping. It has everything including vegetables , clothes, gold and precious stones.
+Russian Market: Just to make tourists attraction, this market is named Russian market. Because during the Civil War , Russian people lived around this market and they went to this market for shopping. For locals call this market Phsar Toul Tompoung. It has the same products in the central market, but all products have different prices, it is according to you how good at bargaining you are !
