Bamboo trains: are made of bamboo beds with an engine to drive on the railway. Farmers who live along the railway use the bamboo trains to transport their crops from their villages to markets in Battambang town.
Sampov Mountain: is located 15 kms from Battambang town where it was used as a killing field during Khmer Rouge. After Pol Pot regime was toppled, local people came back to live around this mountain and rebuild a beautiful pagoda on the top of the mountain.
Phsar Prahok: is the biggest fomented fish in Cambodia where you can smell and experience how dried fish , salty fish and fomented fish are made in Cambodia.
Ek Phnom temple: is the Hindu temple for god Shiva in 11th century during the reign of King Suryavarman .
Banan temple: located about 25 km from Battambang town. It was built during the reign of King Udayadityavarman II in mid of 11th for god Shiva. A staircase with 358 steps to reach to the top of Phnom Banan but the incredible views across surrounding countryside from the top are worth it.
